Who I Am

I’m the founder of GR Ace Legal Compliance Specialist, an independent UK legal consultancy providing commercial contract, compliance and employment support to businesses, organisations, consultants and individuals.

With over 14 years’ experience across legal, compliance, recruitment and business operations, I bring together legal knowledge with practical commercial experience. My background means I understand not only the detail within contracts, policies and regulatory requirements, but also how those requirements need to work in practice within a business.

My approach is straightforward: to provide clear, practical and commercially considered support without unnecessary complexity or jargon.

Whether I am working alongside an internal team on a commercial contract, helping a business strengthen its compliance processes, or supporting an individual through a difficult workplace matter, clients work directly with me throughout.

My Experience

My experience spans legal and commercial operations, contract management, compliance, recruitment and employment matters.

Over the course of my career, I have worked with contracts and contractual frameworks, regulatory and compliance requirements, internal processes, audits, policies, workplace matters and operational risk.

This combination of legal, compliance and operational experience allows me to look beyond the wording of a document and consider the wider commercial picture — what an obligation means in practice, where risk may arise, how requirements affect operational teams and what needs to happen next.

I hold an LLB (Hons) Law degree and a Diploma in English Law, alongside more than a decade of practical professional experience.

What I Do

I provide flexible legal and compliance consultancy across three core areas:

Commercial Contracts & Contract Management
Supporting businesses with contract drafting and review, contractual obligations, risk, change control, contract variations, Statements of Work, NDAs and ongoing contract management.

I can also work alongside internal, commercial, operational and technical teams where additional contract resource is required, including on a project, day-rate or call-off basis.

Compliance & Business Support
Supporting organisations with policies, governance documentation, regulatory requirements, UK GDPR, risk management, audit readiness and practical compliance processes.

Employment & Workplace Support
Supporting businesses and individuals with grievances, redundancy, workplace disputes, document and evidence reviews, ACAS processes, negotiation and practical employment support.

My work can range from a single document or specific issue through to a larger project or ongoing consultancy arrangement.

My Approach

Legal and contractual matters do not exist in isolation. A contract may be legally detailed but still needs to work operationally. A compliance requirement needs to be translated into a process people can actually follow. An employment matter often requires careful consideration of both the documentation and the people involved.

Outside the Office

When I’m not supporting clients, I’m a busy mum of three boys. I enjoy countryside walks, baking, hosting dinner parties, Pilates and finding quiet moments to write.

Running my own consultancy alongside family life has reinforced something that is also central to the way I work professionally: communication, organisation and practical solutions matter.

I bring that grounded, people-focused approach to my client work, combining professional experience with an understanding that behind every contract, business or workplace matter are real people making real decisions.
